How to make your welcome back class special.

The first class back of a new term is always a daunting. I'm not ashamed to say I've sat up at night worrying that no one will return for the new term or that I won't cope with the free trials the fees and everything else that happens on that first week back to class. Here are a few ideas we have used to kick our term off with a bang.

Make it a party.

We believe dance should be fun and everyday should be special, so why not make back to classes an event. This doesn't need to cost a fortune its amazing what a few balloons and a home made banner can do! Here is our banner for you to use too! all you need to do is cut it our and attach it to some pretty ribbon.

We also love a light box. I think not only is it adorably cute parents are more likely read what message are on it ..... like FEES DUE! ;p we have ours on our front desk.

Colouring Page.

We have made a princess colouring page to welcome back our beautiful dancers. We found this carries the excitement of class into there homes, almost like a memento of there day with us making them even more eager to come back next week.

Themed classes.

We LOVE a theme. why not base your first class back round a movie or show that was a huge hit with kids this summer! We are planning to do a Moana Class, with palm trees, coconuts and Hawaiian skirts! I am super excited and promise I will write a blog all about it so you can use these ideas in your classes too!

Social Media.

I love social media for building a community around a business. Every week you should be posting information about what you've been up to in class. A peak behind the curtain if you will.
